Whitegate Creamery

Creamery book

Whitegate Creamery, which was a branch of Scarriff Creamery, was a facility that provided a vital source of income to the local farming community for many years during the 1900s. The creamery which was since removed, was commemorated in 2018 by erecting memorial plaques on the site together with the publication of a booklet giving a complete history of the creamery and its association with the central creamery in Scarriff. The names and address of the suppliers within its catchment area are also included.
